Years loitering around shop : 8
years of Oronge Crush'ds.....
Reason for name: Oronge
is actually a hybrid word
from Orang-utan and Mange. It is the medical term used to describe the

to shed. The first victims of the disease were Orang-utans at
the Saskatchewan zoo who in turn passed it on to
Coach...............I'll let you figure out how....

at his stag, Any of the Golf tourney's, Skunk parties.....and
every Thursday at Loonies from 2000 to 2003 (not so much
memories, but I'm sure I was there and having a good time)...

My name is Darcie Goodman, I am a 23 year old
female rider born and raised in Kamloops. This will be my seventh
year snowboarding and I have been passionately in love with it
from the get go.
I grew up skiing with my dad, loving my florescent one-piece
snowsuit and matching goggle duo, while thrashing the mogul ranges
of a small mountain called Harper just outside of town. I switched
to snowboarding (in 1999) after renting a board once at the age
of 15, I immediately sold my skis, and have never looked back.
Since then:
-Joined West Tech Snowboard Club 2001
-Began working at Oronge in 2002
-Traveled to New Zealand with West Tech summer 2002
-Chosen for BC Provincial Boardercross Team 2003
-Chosen for BC Provincial Halfpipe Team 2004-present
-Graduated University with Bachelor of Nursing 2004
-Moved to Whistler in to advance my riding skills in bigger terrain
-A few minor setbacks including knee surgery Spring 2005
-Currently traveling throughout the nation for Halfpipe events
-Spring 2006 invitation to National Team Selection Camp
-Summer 2006 working my butt off Nursing to be able to afford
to follow my dreams

Oronge Board Shop Working at Oronge was truly a rewarding
experience and by far the most fun place I have ever had the
privilege to work at; my career there lasted 3 years, but my
heart will remain forever…aawww.
Thanks to Coach and Kuanny for all the years of support and friendship. |
